- Update the database of vulnerable groups with the help of local volunteer groups as well as regional partners and in-depth identification of their needs;
- Purchase and distribution of various necessary items / materials for vulnerable groups according to needs.

Strategic tasks
- Within the region, in 13 selected municipalities (Sagarejo, Telavi, Akhmeta, Kvareli, Lagodekhi, Dedoplistskaro, Abasha, Khobi, Martvili, Chkhorotsku, Ozurgeti, Gori and Tsalka) on the basis of community organizations form a group of 60 local volunteers (a total of 60 volunteers) And equip them with relevant knowledge / tools;
- Provide basic needs for vulnerable groups selected in these municipalities (15-20 families per community, up to 550 families in total) by providing a social assistance package and information.

Project description
The project was initiated due to the difficult socio-economic situation created by the pandemic and it was built as a complementary component to the ongoing project of the Center "Empowerment of Women for Change", which covers 2 regions of Georgia. Under the new initiative, the area was expanded to the Guria region and it covered a total of 27 communities in 11 municipalities (Samegrelo, Kakheti, Guria).

Project goal
Reduce GHG emissions and to increase the use of renewable energy, such as solar, wind and bio-energy sources by developing and implementing innovative technologies and methodologies, through promoting low-cost environmentally friendly practices among general public on community level
Strategic tasks:
- Raising awareness on climate change impacts, mitigation and adaptation strategies. The awareness-raising campaign would target school teachers, community leaders, eco-clubs’ representatives and local stakeholders;
- Promoting environmentally friendly technologies and best practices among target communities, including youth through small-scale demonstrations (demo projects);
- Disseminating success stories and practices of low-cost methods for eliminating GHG emissions.

The new project of the European Union - "Civil Society Development Initiative" serves to improve the civil society environment in Georgia.
Project goal
- Diversification of civil society funding sources, including through the activation of public funds and the private sector, the promotion of volunteering and the improvement of the tax environment;
- Increase the capacity, accountability and credibility of civil society organizations to better protect the political, economic, social and cultural rights and interests of citizens;
- Strengthening cooperation of civil society organizations with the government, media and business sector;
- Promoting joint civil society initiatives in the field of public policy, in particular in the implementation of the Association Agreement with the European Union.
By the end of 2020, more than 110 different events will be implemented under the initiative and up to 80 grants will be awarded, which will benefit at least 5,000 representatives of civil society throughout Georgia.

Project goal
Promoting Gender Equality and Economic Empowerment of Women in Samegrelo and Kakheti Regions.
