One of the main activities of the Community Development Program is focused on the financial support of rural community organizations and initiative groups. To this end, the organization is announcing open grant competitions throughout Georgia, as well as the closed ones that are targeting only specific groups or regions. With received funding, community organizations can realize various types of projects, which mainly serve to improve the living standards of the community residents, advocate for local issues, develop and strengthen the capacity of specific target groups and expand their scope of opportunities.
In this section you can browse through the ongoing and completed community projects that were funded by the organization since 2014 and learn more about their goals and results; we hope that each project will motivate you and contribute to the further multiplication and promotion of community initiatives in Georgia.
“In addition to the problems solved locally, leaders themselves grow personally, their visibility and experience increase, and they are enabled to mediate between the community and self-government. The role of such persons in the community is really very important…”
Ana Nadirashvili
Grant Manager of Community Development Program
