Project goal
The aim of the project was to increase the local tourist potential by popularizing the historical and cultural monuments in the community, to inform the population more and to raise the level of education. As part of the project, 8 information banners about historical monuments and churches in the community were made, which were placed in 8 places. A video was prepared about the mentioned historical monuments. With the help of the obtained information and photos, 100 information brochures were created for travel companies. In addition to information brochures and banners, the project created a map marked with tourist trails of historical monuments and churches, according to which 3 banners were installed on the central road of the village. To increase the tourism potential of the community, sidewalks were marked with access to churches. About 50 young people living in the community were involved in the process. In total, the sidewalk leading to all 8 churches was arranged and marked. Excursions to the marked locations were organized for the youth of Pshaveli community and neighboring villages. In addition, trainings / seminars were held on the following topics: tourist guidance, effective communication, waste management, tapestry and felt processing. In total, 2 trainings, 1 seminar, 2 vocational courses were held, which were attended by about 50 residents of the community.
